Thank God for grandparents

When I woke up yesterday morning, I had practically no voice. During the day at school, I managed to speak a bit, but I really didn't sound like myself :p

Today, however, I have no voice what so ever! If I try really hard, I can get out a whisper. Very nice, if I can say so myself. Turns out I have a throat infection. Apparently a bit of a bad one too. So the next three days will be spent (quietly) at my grandparents house, more specifically, in bed or on the sofa. I've already had a good start and been here since approximately 10.30 am ;) What would I do without my family?

It's halftime in the Barcelona - Valencia game, so I thought I'd take the time to show you what I've been doing today :)

After visiting my grandmother on my dad's side, my dad made goulash for dinner, while mom and I were making Rocky Road Brownies. Yum. Then we went to my grandparents to eat fastelavnsboller. (Sorry. I have no idea what that is in English :p ) More yum. I didn't take any pictures myself, so all pictures are from Google.

In conclusion I can say this: there's been a lot of eating today :p

United in Europa League

I have to admit it. It doesn't happen often, but I couldn't really get into the football spirit yesterday. It's just not quite right watching Manchester United in Europa League. They're supposed to be in Champions League. That's that.

But there's a first time for everything, and it was an okay game. Most importantly, they got the away goals they wanted. This way they can hopefully (at least should) have an easier game next Thursday in the return leg at Old Trafford and go through to the next round. Although football's football, the ball is round and anything can happen. That's kind of the beauty of the game.

Luckily, I had a better time on Tuesday, when Barcelona went to Germany and met Bayern Leverkusen. The first half was boring. I have no problem admitting that. But, the second half. Way more fun. And Barcelona got three goals to take back to Camp Nou in March. Good boys :)

For the sake of myself, and the respect I have for how I think they usually play, I'm not gonna write anything about the Arsenal game on Wednesday. I just can't manage.

Have a good day and weekend guys. I'm going to Snowboard World Championships after school today, and I honestly can not wait till this class finishes! Blah is all I have to say.

My mom is the best in the world!
Since I couldn't afford the ticket so I could go see my sister, brother-in-law and nephews, my mom bought the ticket for me. This way I can finally go see them again, and also spend some time with my parents.

I really have the best parents I could ever have imagined. I love them both so much!

Unfortunately I only have older pictures of my nephews, but they're just as lovely today. 

Been trying to go visit them, but the economy is not what it should be, so I have to wait a while. But they're always in my heart, and for now that just has to do.
