On a day like this...

So, I'm sitting here in my flat wondering what to do, so why not update my blog? After cleaning my parents house as a surprise, I went back to my flat to do the sixth test in macro economics. I'm happy to say I got 9 of 10, so as a congratulations from me to me I went to H&M with one of my friends to buy a blazer. Since I am who I am, I also ended up buying a new top and a black dress. But, at least I can say that I needed the new dress. My other "little black" one is too big for me. Not that I'm sad about that, although I really loved that one. Well, well. Just have to look for another one ; )

Me likey ; )

After shopping we went to say hello to one of our friends who works at Ben & Jerry's. Won't complain about that either, cuz Ben & Jerry's has some of the best ice-cream in the world! I'm extremely happy about it finally being in Norway. Now all we need is Starbucks, and my guilty pleasures will be complete. Well, maybe not complete, but at least closer to it ; )

Todays flavor, in addition to Coffee Coffee, Buzz Buzz Buzz : )

When I got back home I thought of watching a movie or an episode of Ally McBeal, but I never got that far. Twitter is just too much fun. It's really fun to read what other people think about both serious and totally random things. It takes up way more time than I thought it would, though. Gotta be careful of not getting too carried away : p

But I'm going to work in the morning, so I'm going to sign off now. Hope everyone's had a great day and that you'll have only sweet dreams when you go to sleep : )

Amsterdam!!

Last Thursday, I went to Amsterdam with 14 other people from my class and the year above us. It turned out to be a good weekend with too little sleep. On average I think I got two and a half hours of sleep every night from Thursday to Sunday. No wonder I got a migraine when I was on the flight back home...

Leaving Oslo : )

In short one might say that we walked. A lot! The weather waskind of sad on Friday with a bit of wind and rain, but don't think that'll stop a bunch Tourism students :p We definitely burned some calories during those two days. We were way luckier on Saturday. It was absolutely beautiful all day long, and NO SNOW! That was the best part! I'm really sick of snow now. It's been a long winter.

Ready to explore!

Weather turning "blue"...

Sunny Saturday : D

The one thing that sucked on Saturday, was that I had no shopping-mood what so ever! I bought a pair of earrings. That was it. (But I was yesterday and I am today, so I'm going to Storo in an hour ; ) hehe). But it didn't stop the other girls from doing it. For example buying nice shoes : )

Going back home : (

Something to think about?

I had Consumer Behavior class today and the topic of the day was attitude (holdninger in Norwegian). Our lecturer had this "picture" in her Power Point and I really liked it, so I thought I'd share it with you : )

Hope you're all having a good day : )

A little hello (turning a bit long) ; )

Just wanted to say hello to make you see I'm still here.

The previous two weeks have been spent setting up meetings with lecturers, getting my classmates opinions about our course (which hasn't been easy, let me tell you) and today I finally finished my last (of five) meeting this week. Seeing as I am the class representative, I was in hand of evaluating the four subjects we have this semester. Me and one of the other class representatives from our year (but an other course) have had four meetings with four different lecturers these three days. I also had a meeting with the Bachelor administration and three other Tourism students yesterday, so I'm glad I'm finally done with this for now.

In other "news", so to speak. I went to an ice-hockey game (Vålerenga - Sparta Warriors) with my mom, dad and brother on Sunday. I've never been to a game like that before and it was really fun. My dads company are sponsors for Vålerenga, so we sat in the VIP area and got food and everything : ) It was great! The one downside of it was that my hand got messed up by the puck. It came flying out of nowhere and hit my left hand. Fast and furious. It hurt for a long time, but I got to take the puck home, so that was at least nice ; )

When I got home though, I saw that Arsenal lost the Carling Cup finale against Birmingham, and that hurt pretty much as much as getting hit by the puck. I was actually sad for a long time. Can't imagine how they felt : ( And United lost against Chelsea last night, but that just made me angry, because David Luiz (Chelsea player) should have been sent off and Chelsea shouldn't have gotten the penalty! Way weak!! And since Vidic actually did get sent off, we'll face Liverpool on Sunday without him. Rio, get your behind back in business!!

As you see, I don't do so well with back-to-back defeats. That's definitely the downside of supporting two teams... However, the joy is double as well, so I choose to focus on that instead ; ) Arsenal play an FA Cup replay against Leyton Orient tonight though, so I'm hoping for a victory tonight. Both for their and my sake ; ) (And if they win, they'll go to Old Trafford to play United next. That's when the fun begins ; ) )
xoxo
